Man arrested after alleged indecent act on Langley trail

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an indecent act along a trail in Langley earlier this month.

Mounties say it happened near 208 Street and 76 Avenue in the city’s Willoughby neighbourhood around 4:30 p.m. on April 5. The RCMP did not make the incident public until Tuesday.

Police have reasons to believe that several other people witnessed the incident and are urging them to come forward.

“There were several key witnesses who left the area before police arrived,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom in a release.

If you have seen anything suspicious and have not yet come forward, you’re asked to contact Langley RCMP with the reference file number 2025-10005.

No charges have been laid yet, according to online court records.
